Sports Massage uses more aggressive techniques compared to what you may have experienced at a spa for example, due to getting to the muscles more deeply. The primary outcome of a Sports Massage is to get you back to optimal function to continue with the activities that you want to.
It is normal to feel sore for 1-3 days after a massage due to the massage being deep. This feeling is very similar to DOMS which is due to the lactic acid being worked out of the congested tissues. However, drinking lots of water post massage will help to reduce this soreness – Hydration is key!
During the treatment your therapist will ask for feedback in regards to the pressure being applied.
This depends on the areas you think need working. For example if it is just one area of your body like Upper Back then we would recommend 30 minutes; although this also depends on how much work the area needs.

If you have to cancel your appointment (as much as we hope you don't) then simply text, ring or email us again stating that you need to cancel.
Remember that you must give 24 hours notice or you may be charged 50% of your appointment cost.
